Lemon and Bergamot Cleansing Balm

Made from 100% natural vegan ingredients, this light and citrussy cleansing balm is scented with refreshing lemon and bergamot essential oils.

A cleansing balm is a whole new way to approach face care. Made with a blend of oils, waxes and essential oils, this Lemon & Bergamot Cleansing Balm offers a gentle and unique means of facial cleansing.

How does it work and how do you use it?

Using an oil to cleanse may sound different and even quite scary especially to those with oily skin, but oil in fact, dissolves oil. Water is not able to break down oil and some water based cleansers can be less effective on oily skin.

This cleansing balm has been created with a soy wax keeping it soft and easy to apply, a moisturising but light shea butter and Castor oil. Castor is a favourite oil for cleansing since it has a low comedogenic rating (meaning it does not clog pores) and its ability to draw out dirt.

Let me tell you a little bit about myself and the ethos behind the products I create.

I am a strong believer in the powers of plants and create my own herbal oil infusions that make the base of my products.

I believe that simplicity is key when it comes to skin care, an effective and quality product with no more than 10 natural ingredients with no padding or water can be created; to form an active concentrated end product with desired results.

Ever since I was young, I have been obsessed with nature. Growing up in the countryside and being a farmer’s daughter meant I spent a great deal of time outdoors, learning about the power of plants.

Unable to find any purely natural products in the stores (many market themselves as natural but check the labels and look out for the cheap padding and water (aqua)!), I took to creating my own using the plant knowledge I gained to create effective and luxurious skin care products.

The products are all natural using waterless technology, with no man made chemicals or petrochemicals, no palm oil and no damaging the environment artificial chemicals.
